Hei!I am Hannes, a 27 year old designer specializing in industrial & product design. In my work, I want to highlight the interdisciplinary potential of design. Design with the potential for bringing specialized fields together.
In my BA degree in Design I focussed on two fields: In industrial design and metal design. While acknowledging the importance and urgency of producing things on an industrial scale, I was able to study the making of as well. Studying at the HAWK Hildesheim formed a bilateral approach: Creating both practical functions and semantic functions of an object.
In recent years after my BA, I increasingly focused on a balance between democratic design for everyone and ecological aspects. I got more involved in the creation of grassroot initiatives, which resulted in projects like SykkelLab or Critical Mass.
